Hello, I'm Claire. I'm a trauma-informed mindfulness + somatics practitioner, yoga teacher and hypnotherapist. I weave my values of compassion, safety and empowerment with my knowledge of the mind and body to provide a supportive and nurturing space for your healing.
Who is guided relaxation for?
You may be struggling with stress, anxiety or tension in your body or feel you deserve a little self-care mini-break away from the hustle and bustle of life. You may want to renew or support your existing practice, or simply know you deserve some blissful relaxation.

If you have ever had a diagnosis of major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, personality disorder, current suicidal thoughts or feelings, epilepsy, or current substance abuse or dependence, unfortunately assisted relaxation Claire may not be suitable for you. What is a guided relaxation session with Claire?
Do you ever feel like you just need a break? To step out of the business of life and press pause?
If you're feeling stressed, tense, overwhelmed or burnt out, a guided relaxation session with Claire will help you release tension from your body, relax your muscles and soothe your mind. Using a combination of gentle movement, breathwork, sounds, scents, touch and yoga nidra (yogic sleep), you will experience deep rest and feel refreshed and restored. On this journey you will gently tend to your body and mind, giving yourself the love and rest you deserve.

What happens in a guided relaxation session?
Your sessions will last 50/75 minutes. After a chat to find out a little bit about you and your needs, I will guide you on a blissful journey through the senses using movement, breath, scents, sounds and touch (all optional) and then into a Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) guided practice. Yoga Nidra is a non-sleep deep rest state, similar to hypnosis/trance, where your body can experience deep healing and restoration. You will be lying down, cosy and supported with blankets and cushions. At the end of the session you'll have some time for integration and gently waking your body back up ready for the day ahead.
How many sessions will I need + what is the cost?
Guided relaxation can be used as a single session treatment, or multiple sessions can be booked.
Each 50 minute session is £75

Where do sessions take place?
Your session will take place in a beautiful and cosy therapy room in Salisbury city centre. You do not need to bring any equipment, though if you have your own mat, blanket &/or eye mask you are very welcome to bring them.
Do I need to have done yoga or meditation before?
Nope. Yoga Nidra is a guided lying down meditation. I may guide you through some really gentle stretches/movements to release and relax your body before this, but you don't need to have done any yoga or meditation before.
